Baby Elk and Its Mama (Wyoming)

Yellowstone National Park. Grizzly 399! Blurry picture, furry bear. This was super cool, especially noting the fact that she got hit by a car and died only four months later.

National Elk Refuge, Jackson Hole, Wyoming. These guys weren’t exactly cute, and they also weren’t the type of bighorn sheep we were used to seeing.
